ERP software vendor, Unit4, has appointed Chris Tithof as the company's first country manager and sales director for Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ).

Tithof will be responsible for the regional operations and will remain driving the business forward in A/NZ. He was promoted after three years leading the channel business as channel director for A/NZ. The company is currently recruiting for a replacement.

He joined Unit4 in August 2015 after 11 years with Netsuite, where he was a corporate account manager and later channel manager for A/NZ.

Unit4 officially launched in the Australian market in September 2013 appointing, at the time, Peter Simons as the director for A/NZ. The company previously operated locally through distributors before setting up its Sydney office.

Unit4 expects Tithof to continue developing the local team which has shown growth in recent years.

“I have been working for Unit4 in this region for over three years and I see many great opportunities to further develop our presence in Australia and New Zealand since Unit4 has such a unique product in comparison to the others in the market”, said Tithof.

“I am very excited to be stepping up into this new opportunity, and I am looking forward to what Unit4 can achieve in 2018," he said.

In October 2017, Unit4 signed an agreement with MOQdigital as it looked to expand its Australian integration partners.

“We’re excited to announce this partnership with MOQdigital. We’ve been successfully working with other partners in this region for a number of years now and are thrilled with the opportunity to be reaching broader markets with MOQdigital,” Tithof said at the time.
