Nominations are now open for the Women in ICT Awards (WIICTA) in 2018, recognising female excellence across New Zealand.

For the third year running, Reseller News will celebrate the achievements of a talented crop of female front runners who have become influential figures in the local technology market.

Set for Tuesday 19 June in Auckland, the luncheon will recognise the innovation, excellence and entrepreneurial spirit of Kiwi women in ICT.

Reflective of IDG’s continued dedication to the local market, the 2018 awards will honour standout individuals across seven categories, spanning Entrepreneur; Innovation; Rising Star; Shining Star; Community; Technical and Achievement.

This year will see the introduction of an Achievement award, recognising outstanding commitment to the ICT industry through continuous career development and professional achievements.

Specifically, this candidate will have risen to a senior ICT role, earned a reputation as a recognised leader in the industry, and may also act as a role model/mentor to other aspiring female managers.

As part of the program, an esteemed group of executives has been selected to form the judging panel, spanning partner, vendor and distributor organisations.
