Dynamo6 has been appointed as a Google Cloud partner in New Zealand, joining a growing network of cloud specialists across the country.
The cloud services provider becomes the first Waikato born-and-bred company to sign up to the tech giant’s ecosystem, with two senior systems engineers, Andrew Milne and Dominik Feiler, gaining certifications.
“This partnership is indicative of Google Cloud’s approach to building a network of the best experts nationwide,” Dynamo6 managing director, Igor Matich, told Reseller News.
“There are many Waikato businesses looking at cloud transformations and when it comes to working with anyone on a change like this, being local is best.”
In adding capabilities across the Google Cloud Platform (GCP), the move caps a strong five years of growth for Dynamo6, with the business expanding from Hamilton into Auckland and the Bay of Plenty.
Central to such growth has been the provider’s extensive work with G Suite and Google Chrome, including migrating and optimising operational processes, particularly in education.
For Matich, becoming a Google Cloud partner adds to Dynamo6’s existing expertise across the vendor’s portfolio of solutions, allowing the business to offer a full suite of cloud services alongside Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure.
“Some call this an agnostic approach to cloud but we think this is a very passive description,” Matich added. “Where we see our role as being very active in understanding a business first and then guiding it on the best cloud platform, or multi-cloud approach, for now and into the future.

Founded in 2012, Dynamo6 specialises in cloud computing, mobile, web and app development solutions, with key customers including Rototuna Junior High School, Kiwi Property and Waikato Security Services.
The partnership comes as Google Cloud actively seeks on-the-ground expertise specific to the Kiwi channel, as global cloud ambitions become local realities.
As revealed by Reseller News, and under the banner of partner success manager, the candidate will drive Google Cloud business through the vendor’s expanding ecosystem of partners across the country.
Specifically, the candidate will analyse partner business performance, identify methods of increasing partner and Google returns, as well as pitching ideas to and identifying opportunities within partner organisations.
