Stellar Consulting has appointed Luke Turnbull as a consulting director, tasked with expanding the solution provider’s capabilities across central and southern regions in New Zealand.
Based at the company’s Wellington offices, Turnbull returns to the Kiwi market following business analyst roles at Reuters in Barclays in the UK, alongside consultant positions at Standard Chartered Bank, Old Mutual and Principa Decisions in South Africa.
Hailing from the South Island, Turnbull is a graduate of the University of Canterbury and Massey University, having started career at ANZ Bank in Auckland and Wellington.
“We’re delighted to welcome Luke back home to New Zealand,” Stellar general manager, Nicholas Glanfield, said.
“He brings in-depth international experience in IT, product design, data-driven credit risk and marketing best practice throughout the customer lifecycle. He has implemented highly successful growth and product strategies at the largest banks, insurers and retailers in South Africa.”
According to Glanfield, Turnbull’s appointment further deepens Stellar’s delivery capabilities in the Wellington market specifically.
“His ability to understand, then translate ministerial requirements into operational solutions will ensure Stellar is able to provide even more far reaching transformational change through advanced use of business intelligence and analytics,” he added.
Effectively immediately, Turnbull is tasked with helping customers extract value from data, assisting organisations using analytics to improve internal and customer-facing decisions.
