Focus Softnet has launched operations in New Zealand, with the software development provider signing a franchise agreement to provide a range of enterprise and vertical-specific solutions locally.
Founded in 1992, the technology provider specialises in CRM and ERP solutions, servicing more than 30,000 customers across 17 countries spanning Asia, Middle East, Africa and America.
Terms of the expansion will see the business launch Focus Softnet New Zealand through Syed Safdar Ali and Fateh Ali, designed to act as a hub to promote the company’s portfolio locally.
“Focus Softnet has been continuously expanding its market presence on a global scale and is now entering the New Zealand market, which is a new market for us,” Focus Softnet CEO of North America and APAC, Mohammed Jawad Ali Khan, said.
“We felt it is important to have a local team with a tremendous wealth of experience in the ICT and software industry and Fateh Ali and his team were a perfect partner to drive our business in the country.
“Hence, we signed a franchise agreement with them to launch Focus Softnet New Zealand as a franchise entity under the Focus Softnet umbrella.”
According to Khan, the franchise agreement taps into local market knowledge, experience and expertise, as the business targets enterprise and mid-market sectors, including government, manufacturing, retail, trading and healthcare

From a technology perspective, Focus Softnet offers expertise across integrated mobile applications, integrated CRM and multi-server synchronisation, alongside highly customisable MRP to retail point of sale.
