Not just containers: Master Terminal manages all cargo types.
Christchurch-based Jade Logistics has implemented its Master Terminal software at a record 22 sites in 2017.
In one substantial Australasian project, 16 terminals went live in less than ten months, while another eight-week implementation completed the roll-out at a multi-purpose terminal on the eastern coast of the UAE.
The company says its software went live at terminals across Europe, the Americas, Australasia, and the Middle East.
Jade Logistics separated from Jade Software Corporation on 30 June and is now owned by Georgia-based USA Health.
It supplies its Terminal Operating System for mixed cargo ports, including bulk terminals, break bulk and roll-on, roll-off terminals, and container terminals. It separated from Jade Software Corporation on 30 June.
Chief executive officer David Lindsay said the implementation times achieved during 2017 were exceptional and were delivering value to customers in terms of lowering their total cost of ownership.
Jade Logistics' director of global services, Mark Ginnever, said the importance of strong client ownership and committed super users could not be stressed enough during implementation.
“The key to any successful implementation is a dedicated project team, comprising representatives from both organisations," he said.
Master Terminal is now licenced to over 110 terminals. Jade Logistics said it had a strong sales forecast into 2018 and beyond.
