IGEL Technology has partnered up with Dicker Data in a bid to help the German endpoint management software vendor tap into to the channel across Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ).
It is hoped that the new arrangement will bring IGEL Technology, a global Citrix strategic alliance partner, closer to the Citrix channel locally, while at the same time enhancing Dicker Data’s portfolio of virtual solutions.
“We have a range of solutions that will complement Dicker Data’s portfolio very well," IGEL A/NZ regional manager, Marc Doehnert, said.
"We feel very strongly that this partnership will really allow the full potential of VDI to be realised in enterprises throughout A/NZ, from SMBs right up to the very biggest organisations.
“Dicker Data [is] the leading Citrix distributor in A/NZ, and that relationship greatly increases our scope to reach a significant proportion of the core market for us in A/NZ."
According to Citrix A/NZ channel director, Brian McColm, IGEL has been working with Citrix for over 15 years, with the two companies engaged in a relationship that complements the vendor’s efforts to provide the secure delivery of applications and data, both on-premises or in the cloud.
“Together with Dicker Data, I believe we offer our partners solutions that help provide our joint customers improved business productivity, simplified endpoint management and a reduction in desktop business costs,” McColm said.
“I look forward to working with IGEL and Dicker Data to deliver joint enablement and compelling offers that benefit our Partners and customers.”
Meanwhile, IGEL said it expects its solutions portfolio to provide Dicker Data and its local channel partners with “complete high-performance virtual desktop solutions that drive cost savings on the endpoint for customers”.
