HP has unveiled finalists for the 2017 Partner Awards in New Zealand, as the tech giant honours the top performers across the channel.

Set for 16 November in Auckland, the awards recognise achievements across 11 categories, spanning silver, gold, education and marketing partners, alongside direct, print and personal systems partners, as well as retailers and distributors.

This year also sees the introduction of two individual awards in the form of Channel Sales People, including both print and PC divisions.

Winners in 2016 included Cyclone, CSG Business Solutions, Scotttronic Technologies, Warehouse Stationery, Spark Digital, Acquire, Datacom, Manux Solutions, Noel Leeming and Ingram Micro, as well as individual recognition for Neth Ky of Datacom.

The awards come as HP - which took home the Channel Choice Hardware Vendor of the Year Award at the 2017 Reseller News ICT Industry Awards in October - celebrates 50 years of business in New Zealand.

As reported by Reseller News, then Hewlett-Packard NZ was registered as a company in August of 1967, before going on to build up an army of local channel partners during the following five decades.
