Consegna has been recognised as an Amazon Web Services (AWS) Advanced Consulting Partner, in recognition of expanding cloud capabilities and a growing customer base across New Zealand.

The Auckland-based start-up - founded in June 2016 - has reported a number of success stories during the past 12 months, with customers now spanning enterprise and government departments, alongside progress across education, tourism, property services, finance, media and entertainment sectors.

Recognising excellence on the AWS platform, the new status validates the creation of a business backed by the tech giant and supported by a global team of cloud specialists, leveraging global managed services partnerships with Rackspace locally.

“Our new partnership status is testament to our teams hard work, and we have reached this milestone in record time for the New Zealand market,” a spokesperson for Consegna told Reseller News.

“AWS Advanced Consulting Partner adds to our growing AWS accreditation portfolio, as an AWS Authorised Public Sector Partner, AWS Channel Reseller, along with being the first AWS Partner in New Zealand to receive the accreditation of AWS Server Mass Migration Service.”

Founded by John Taylor and Michael Butler, the entrepreneurs met in London during the early 2000s, having both worked together as network delivery Cisco engineers for GlaxoSmithKline.

Together they then ran the European network and security delivery capability for Polo Ralph Lauren, delivering network and security solutions in Northern Italy.

Italian for delivery, Consegna has been up and running for 12 months in New Zealand, with the start-up already recruiting key customer wins.

With a growing presence in Auckland and Wellington, Consegna is building a team of AWS certified professionals across New Zealand.

Currently, the business is recruiting for cloud-focused roles in both cities, focusing on consultants, architects, delivery managers and inside sales.
