Dicker Data New Zealand has announced a new company structure aligned to its parent company in Australia, alongside the appointment of two general managers.
In joining general manager of finance and administration, Gavan Brunton, on the leadership team, the reshuffle sees Lisa Tierney take over as general manager of the enterprise group - focused on legacy software and networking vendors - with Richard Harri now general manager of the volume group.
“We have recognised the need to differentiate our enterprise customers’ needs from those of our volume customers’,” Dicker Data A/NZ COO Vlad Mitnovetski said.
“In order to provide the best, tailored customer experience, it is a logical move to implement structural changes that will clearly demarcate and differentiate our approach.”
Going forward, Mitnovetski said the enterprise group of the Kiwi division will continue to drive the company’s legacy software and networking business through cloud and next-generation technologies.
Meanwhile, the volume group will focus on expanding the distributor’s vendor portfolio and customer base across New Zealand.
“Whilst both business groups will use the same systems and work horizontally across the rest of the business, such a structural change is needed so the company can implement focused strategies into two very different business groups," Mitnovetski added.
"We believe this change will provide a clear focus and ensure the right investments are made to accelerate growth."
The change comes more than four months after Phil Presnall resigned from his role as general manager of sales and marketing at the distributor, exiting the business on 3 March.
