Evosys has launched operations across Australia and New Zealand, with the Oracle Platinum partner striking a local cloud deal with NOVA Entertainment.
Drawing on over 10 years of industry experience, the India-based provider focuses exclusively on Oracle Cloud implementation and consultancy, and enters the region with a customer win already under its belt.
Terms of the deal will see Evosys deploy Oracle HCM Cloud into the business operations of NOVA Entertainment, refreshing HR information systems in a bid to capture data to boost strategic decision making and workforce planning.
“The aim in selecting Oracle HCM Cloud is to modernise our current HR practises,” NOVA Entertainment head of HR, Alana Howe, said.
“We want to establish a HR function primarily focused on strategic business partnering to further propel NOVA Entertainment’s success.
“To do this we need a solid foundation with the highest levels of efficiency, automation and strong line manager engagement.”
Howe said the increased automation will enhance productivity across the organisation, while delivering business insights to inform strategic workforce planning in the future.

“NOVA Entertainment selected Oracle HCM Cloud because it is one of the strongest all-in-one solutions for key HR activities in market,” Howe added.
“In particular, the depth of the analytics offered will provide significant value add for our leaders while the intuitiveness of the platform and the solution being accessible via all mobile platforms makes it a user friendly experience for all employees.”
Expected to go live in the third quarter of 2017, the solution includes workforce management and increased analytics capabilities, delivered through the Oracle Cloud platform.
As one of the fastest-growing Oracle Cloud partners globally, Evosys has deployed a range of Oracle Sofware-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions including ERP, HCM, SCM, CRM, Hyperion (PBCS), BI and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS).
Specifically, the IT solutions provider targets verticals across healthcare, finance, logistics, manufacturing and distribution, including both public and private sectors.
“Evosys is delighted to have NOVA Entertainment as its first customer in the region,” Evosys regional manager A/NZ, Neil O’Malley, said. “We look forward to a long and productive working relationship.”
Currently, Evosys is present in 18 countries across Europe, North America, Middle East and Asia, with the business recently expanding its capacity to execute over 280 projects simultaneously with a dedicated Oracle Centre of Excellence, which is host to over 850 experienced Oracle consultants.
