Exeed rewards loyal resellers with exclusive Air NZ distribution partnership

Resellers qualify for Airpoints through eligible purchases of hardware, software and cloud solutions.

Exeed has partnered with Air New Zealand to offer commercial resellers the opportunity to earn extra dollars through its Airpoints for Business program.

Terms of the deal will see resellers that are signed up to the Airpoints for Business program able to start earning Airpoints Dollars from 1 March 2017.

Specifically, resellers qualify through eligible purchases of hardware, software and cloud solutions from the Kiwi distributor.

“Exeed is thrilled to be the exclusive IT distribution partner in the Airpoints for Business program,” Exeed Managing Director, Justin Tye, said.

“We have a very loyal customer base and are delighted to be able to reward our resellers with Airpoints Dollars which they can redeem on rewards they really want.

“IT people travel extensively for work and pleasure and we know they will love the opportunity to earn Airpoints Dollars which they can put towards future flights.”

Speaking to Reseller News, Tye said Exeed has been searching for a “better way” to reward customer loyalty and incentivise its channel.

“We see the Airpoints for Business program as a great way to achieve this,” he added. “It’s an iconic program that delivers great results for its members and we believe it will do the same for Exeed.

“Our product marketing team spend a lot of time and effort launching promotions and incentives to our channel, they tend to vary significantly in the perceived value to the reseller and they don’t always hit the mark as an incentive.”

Through Airpoints for Business however, Tye said Exeed can offer a cumulative program that is universally understood and accepted as delivering a tangible benefit to all of it’s members.

“Exeed will benefit from spending less time on managing multiple promotions which will allow us to invest more in this program to make it more valuable to our customers,” he added.

“We can use Airpoints for Business to motivate our channel to invest in a brand or a category through offers like double your Airpoints.”

From a channel perspective, Tye said the partnership will benefit the “highly mobile” partner community across New Zealand, recognising the increased level of travel for Kiwi resellers.

“Whether it be a conference, trade show, training or customer meetings, we are an industry that flies a lot,” he added.

Airpoints for Business also rewards small to medium-sized Kiwi businesses with Airpoints Dollars every time an employee travels with Air New Zealand for work.

“Exeed joins a growing number of businesses that want to reward their valued customers with Airpoints Dollars,” Air New Zealand General Manager of Loyalty, Mark Street, added,

“Airpoints members enjoyed more than 840,000 flights last year paid for with Airpoints Dollars, so Exeed rewarding its customers with travel will certainly be popular.”
