Brings on training partner to focus on channel growth and existing partners

Cyber security company, Trend Micro, has partnered with IT training organisation, Red Education, to skill up its partners in the vendor’s products.

Under the terms of the agreement, Red Education will become the authorised training centre to provide training for Trend Micro’s full product portfolio starting January 2017.

Trend Micro said the partnership will allow it to focus on bringing further growth to the business and on supporting existing customers.

”Red Education is the leader in its field and we’re pleased to be partnering with the team across A/NZ,” said Trend Micro A/NZ enterprise sales and channel director, Indi Siriniwasa.

“Our channel partners are vital to the success of Trend Micro, and this investment in training and education aims to support and empower our channel partners to develop the skills that will help sell and service Trend Micro’s security suite to their customers in the best possible way,” he said.

“With the much-publicised cyber security skills shortage, Red Education continues to take action by partnering with Trend Micro to bring to market a regular schedule of training across their full product portfolio”, said Red Education managing director, Rob Howard.

"We have added yet another market leader to our portfolio with Trend Micro, and they have been amazing in their support of this initiative thus far,” he said.

Red Education will provide courses consisting of lectures, labs and discussions.

All Trend Micro’s courses will be available in-class, on-site and virtually from January 2017.
