The Instillery has appointed Jamie Wallis to the newly created role of chief operating officer, as one of the country’s fastest-growing service providers prepares to take on the cloud world.

In this role, Wallis will be responsible for leading The Instillery's operations and delivery to customers as the business looks to expand its footprint globally.

“The Instillery has seen phenomenal growth this year and our business is in an exciting place as we look ahead to 2017,” The Instillery founder and CEO, Mike Jenkins, said.

“In the coming months we’ll be entering new markets and new countries as we continue to build out our strategic partnerships with the likes of Cloudability and Zscaler.”

Jenkins said Wallis comes to the business with “extensive digital experience” and a “solid understanding” of global sales and operations.

“Jamie is a proven executive and comes to us with a wealth of leadership and management experience,” he said.

“We’re very excited to have someone of his calibre leading our operations and global expansion in the newly established COO role.

“Jamie has a rock solid understanding of global sales and operations which will be key as we continue to drive sustainable growth across the globe, beginning with The Instillery’s expansion into the UK in 2017.”

Most recently Wallis was general manager - services at ReachLocal Australia and New Zealand, a leader in powering online marketing for local businesses, where he was responsible for client retention across the region and 68 staff across marketing, client services, technology, performance and operations.

“I’m really pleased to join The Instillery Group and further foster the exceptional talent that exists within the group - it’s an exciting time for both the industry and for The Instillery in terms of growth,” Wallis added.

“I’m really looking forward to being part of an executive team that drives many more successes in market, with new products and an expansion into new regions on the horizon.”
