Kordia has appointed Hamish Guild to the position of executive general manager Kordia Solutions Australia and New Zealand, effective January 2017.

Guild joins Kordia from Australian network solutions provider Visionstream, where he most recently held the position of executive manager networks.

Kordia Group CEO Scott Bartlett said that Guild is “highly experienced” in both the New Zealand and Australian telecommunications contracting industries.

“Hamish is a proven leader who builds trusted relationships with staff and customers, understands the need for strong operational delivery; and has a track record of delivering for shareholders and customers alike,” he said.

“With his appointment, Kordia is further positioning itself for consolidation and growth in the key territories and markets in which we operate.”

Reporting directly to Bartlett, Guild will lead contracting and consulting operations in the Kordia Solutions New Zealand and Kordia Solutions Australia business unit, while also sitting on the executive leadership team.

“This is an exciting position in a company which has proven its delivery capability in competitive markets and which offers several unique value propositions,” Guild added.

“I’m looking forward to starting and becoming a part of the Kordia success story.”

Originally from New Zealand, Guild is Sydney-based and will work out of Kordia’s Rhodes office.
