Origin IT has taken out the New Zealand Partner of the Year for its work with Nimble Storage, as the mid-market specialists continue to expand across the country.

The Auckland-based IT specialists were recognised for recording strong customer and revenue growth, expertise and certification, marketing success as well as overall engagement and support during the past twelve months.

"We are proud to receive the New Zealand Nimble partner of the year award,” Origin IT CEO, Michael Russell.

"This reflects the commitment both organisations have made towards each other and the focus that we have on delivering great outcomes for our clients.

Nimble Storage rewarded the achievements of its highest-performing partners in Australia and New Zealand at its annual partner conference staged last week at Peppers Resort in Kingscliff, New South Wales.

More than 100 partners from 50 different companies attended the event, taking part in two days of sales and technical content, and a celebration awards evening.

“We honour all our partners from around Australia and New Zealand who have helped to support our growth and worked so hard to drive customer success and mutual business benefit,” Nimble Storage director of channel sales Asia Pacific, Theo Hourmouzis, added.

“We have continued our success with rapid customer acquisition while driving repeat business and maintaining high customer satisfaction.
