WhereScape, the data warehouse automation provider, has awarded platinum status to Christchurch-based Montage, a business intelligence and data analytics company.

WhereScape CEO, Michael Whitehead, says the partnership recognises the “strategic relationship” between the two companies, which has allowed the company to consolidate its footprint in the South Island.

“Together we provide seamless business intelligence tools that will help South Island’s fast-growing companies to make more informed business decisions, based on knowledge and understanding derived from their data,” he says.

As a WhereScape partner of 10 years, Montage becomes the second company in New Zealand to achieve this ranking.

“The essence of a good BI solution is the creation and the maintenance of one source of the truth,” adds Tony Millar, CEO, Montage.

“No matter what front end tool (e.g. Tableau, Power BI etc.), our clients’ success is driven from the engine room of the data warehouse.

“Using a Data Warehouse Automation tool like WhereScape makes the solution not only scalable and flexible but also cost effectiv’.”

Millar sees WhereScape as a mechanism for not only doubling the throughput in projects but also driving a consistent development frame work that transforms data to information.

“This reduces the ongoing risk of having this logic in either key employees or in excel spread sheets,” he explains.

“Together we provide seamless business intelligence tools that will help South Island’s fast-growing companies to make more informed business decisions, based on knowledge and understanding derived from their data.”
