Citrix Online launches ANZ channel program

Citrix has announced a channel program for its recently acquired suite of remote access products.

Citrix Online, a division of Citrix Systems, is establishing a four-tiered channel program to gain access to the Australian and New Zealand market for the range of products that it acquired earlier in the year from Santa Barbara-based Expert City.

The entry-level program, called the referral program, is designed for consultants who are supported with pre-sales and technical support. The next level up, the solution provider program, is aimed at value added resellers (VARs). This is followed by a specific system integrator program targeted at high-volume VARs.

The fourth tier is its reseller program for distributors dealing with the enterprise market.

The initiative is being overseen locally by Carl Braid from Expert City, who has relocated from the US to become the group's senior account manager for Asia-Pacific.

"We are moving to a 100 per cent channel driven strategy and we want to acquire more partners," he said.

Targeted partner companies included outsourcers selling managed services to desktops and break-fix service providers, Braid said.

Citrix Online already has established relationships with national reseller, Aaromba Technologies, in Brisbane and solution provider, Bluefire.
