​Connector Systems solidifies wireless standing with new trans-Tasman vendor deal

Rajant, a provider of mobile mesh technology for private wireless networks, has signed strategic partnership with Connector Systems as a distributor in Australia and New Zealand.

As a manufacturer of mobile kinetic wireless mesh network technology, terms of the deal will see Connector Systems target telecommunications, municipalities, utilities, transportation, mining and other industrial sectors with Rajant’s Kinetic Mesh networks.

“Our partnership with Connector Systems underscores our commitment to drive the market-leading advances of our wireless networking technology to regions that have yet to take full advantage and furthers our reach as a global player,” says Kirk Byles, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Rajant.

“Connector Systems fulfills that objective as an in-region stocking distributor.”

As Byles explains, Rajant wireless nodes create a private wireless mesh network when deployed with other nodes.

Consequently, the more nodes added to the network, the more paths for communication are established, utilising multiple radios to perform multiple functions concurrently.

“Connector Systems is focused on bringing new disruptive technologies to market to help organisations manage the rapidly changing digital landscape,” adds Mark Dasent, General Manager of Australia and New Zealand, Connector Systems.

“Rajant’s Kinetic Mesh platform aligns with our strategy by helping a variety of industry sectors improve communication in changing conditions for better, quicker decision-making.”

According to Dasent, Connector Systems - fresh from being acquired by Ingram Micro - will utilise Rajant networks across a broad array of industries, including military, industrial, transportation, utilities, telecommunications, and all levels of governments.
