As part of its plans to expand its presence across Australia and New Zealand, Unit4, a provider of enterprise applications for service organisations, has appointed Chris Tithof as the new channel director for its regional operations.
Specialising in cloud business management, Tithof is primarily tasked with driving Unit4’s business in the region which involves developing new business, strategic account selling and continuing the company’s partnerships with Agilyx, Connexxion and S1 Consulting within the region.
Among Unit4’s focuses within the trans-Tasman markets is the professional services sector, which includes education, not-for-profit and public services, in which the company has implemented projects with Queensland Government’s One School Program and New Zealand Post.
In terms of regional partnerships, more recently, Unit4 announced its integration with online messaging app Slack in Australia and New Zealand.
“I have been working in this region for a while and I see many potential opportunities for Unit4’s growth here since it is a unique product in comparison to the others in the market,” Tithof adds.
“Unit4 offers a ‘self-driving ERP’ where workflow changes can be introduced by end users through an easy interface, and in addition to that, focus on providing the best solution to empower people instead of only focusing on being software for business processes.
“Services companies will only grow if they make better decisions, provide better customer service and find new business opportunities from their data - if they do not, the competition will.”
