EMC's Chris Trevitt.
EMC general manager of channel sales A/NZ, Chris Trevitt, has left the vendor.
Trevitt has been with EMC for about 10 years, starting out as a commercial account manager before moving through the ranks and becoming general manager of channel sales.
He previously spent about seven years at IBM.
Trevitt wouldn’t comment on his departure, but said he would remain in the IT industry and had a number of opportunities to explore.
The EMC A/NZ channel business will be managed by A/NZ general manager of service provider, systems integrators and alliances, Mark Fioretto, and Brett Harris will become A/NZ general manager, mid-market, inside sales and distribution.
The news of Trevitt’s departure closely follows on from EMC A/NZ vice president and managing director, Alister Dias, taking up a new role as the new vice president and managing director for VMware A/NZ.
In the meantime, EMC Asia Pacific and Japan president, David Webster, will take on local duties until a replacement for Dias is found.
