Connector boosts Wi-Fi portfolio with new vendor partnership

Connector Systems announces distribution agreement with Encapto WiFi across Australia and New Zealand.

Connector Systems has announced a distribution agreement with Encapto WiFi across Australia and New Zealand, significantly improving the distributor’s local wireless portfolio in the process.

Encapto WiFi is a multi site, white labelled WiFi management and analytics platform that is vendor agnostic and complimentary to any planned or existing WiFi networks.

Encapto provides WiFi management system for any sized company, from integrators looking to deploy and manage large municipal networks, to small business owners.

“There are so many feature rich benefits such as Advanced Hotspot Management, Access Controls, Nested User Permissions and Multiple Authentication Methods to name but a few,” says Mark Dasent, Australia and New Zealand General Manager, Connector Systems.

“Then add to that the inherent scalability and flexibility of either local onsite or cloud hosted services, and you have a winner.

“The scalability is particularly attractive. Encapto can cater for both large multi-tenanted retail deployments or a handful of users at a standalone site and everything in-between.”

Dasent believes the partnership now provides “a great opportunity” for resellers to change the conversation with a variety of end-users, ranging from large municipalities to small cafes, and make existing Wi-Fi hardware work smarter.

“We are delighted to have the opportunity to offer the Encapto brand to the reseller channel and to help unlock enormous potential benefits to end customers,” he adds.

According to Darryl Clarke, CEO of Encapto WiFi, one of the most appealing things about Encapto is that it provides the tools for real ROI on a WiFi network.

“Encapto is not aligned to any one WiFi vendor, so by being vendor agnostic Encapto can be applied to any new or existing WiFi networks using WiFi hardware from any vendor, whether that is Ruckus, Aruba, Meraki, whatever the case may be,” he explains.
