Ingram Micro has launched its Cloud Marketplace in New Zealand, as demand for cloud-based services continues to grow exponentially across the country.
As revealed to Reseller News on the ground at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference 2015 in Orlando, Florida, within the cloud services market, IDC estimates that Kiwi adoption of public cloud will grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 27.5 per cent.
“As the demand for cloud technologies continues to grow, channel partners must be able to support the evolving hybrid cloud strategies of today’s businesses,” says Richard Duggan, executive director, Ingram Micro Cloud APAC.
“The Cloud Marketplace enables channel partners to quickly scale as they expand their cloud footprint and overall profitability.”
Through the Cloud Marketplace, Duggan says Ingram Micro is “the first master cloud service provider (CSP) to offer Microsoft Office 365 on an automated platform.”
As a result, channel partners are now able to directly purchase, provision, price and invoice unique Office 365 bundles from a single, online dashboard.
As reported first in New Zealand by Reseller News, the offering is backed by an integrated suite of migration services from SkyKick, and also delivers consolidated billing, providing partners and their customers with an easier way to manage their subscription costs.

Marking the tenth country to go live with Ingram Micro’s Cloud Marketplace, the network is an ecosystem of buyers, sellers and solutions that enables channel partners to transform and grow their business by offering instant, online access to cloud solutions and services.
In addition to the Cloud Marketplace, Ingram Micro is also offering a suite of cloud services and programs designed to further drive channel partner success.
Cloud Ignite Services:
Cloud Ignite Services are available to assist channel partners with the data migration and on-boarding needs of their customers, as well as providing free customer service for all cloud services purchased on the Cloud Marketplace.
Ingram Micro Service Desk:
Leveraging Ingram Micro’s customer service capabilities, the Ingram Micro Service Desk is a fee-based service which partners can resell to their customers and bundle with other offerings.
The Ingram Micro Service Desk offers a 24/7 multilingual team that provides level 1 support for front office, desktop and many IT-related issues via phone, chat and email.
Ingram Micro’s premier loyalty program, Cloud Elevate delivers rewards and enablement services including exclusive promotions, discounts, education and sales and marketing support to help resellers accelerate their cloud profitability.
New partners joining Cloud Elevate by August 31st will receive a credit of $100 (NZD), which can be used for any Microsoft cloud solution within 90 days of joining the program.
