Exeed ramps up Office 365 offering with NZ SkyKick cloud deal

“Moving a business to Office 365 is no small task."

Exeed has become a distributor of products from SkyKick, a global provider of cloud management software for IT solution partners.

According to the local distributor, Skykick’s cloud management products enable IT partners to migrate, backup and centrally manage cloud data and services for cloud products such as Microsoft Office 365 and Dropbox from a single platform.

Initially, Exeed will distribute SkyKick’s Migration Suites tailored at IT solution partners migrating businesses to Microsoft Office 365.

“Moving a business to Office 365 is no small task,” says Justin Tye, Managing Director, Exeed. “It requires preparation and often time consuming services to complete.

“By automating these steps, SkyKick’s award-winning products have helped more than 5,000 partners worldwide simplify moving their tens of thousands of customers to Office 365.

“SkyKick addresses the wide variety of migration scenarios that exist across the New Zealand SMB landscape and is ideal to help our resellers manage all the requirements of a migration project.”

For Tye, moving from an on-premise exchange environment, license keys or open licensing to Office 365 “makes sense” from a customer’s perspective.

“SkyKick provides resellers with a tool to manage migrations with ease,” he adds. “The solution offers resellers a new services opportunity and the added benefit of converting customers to annuity revenue, so it’s a win/win for the channel.”

Exeed recently joined Microsoft’s CSP programme, adding Office 365 and Windows Intune to its cloud offering.

“Adding SkyKick to our portfolio of cloud services provides our resellers with the tools to manage almost every unique customer Office 365 migration scenario with ease,” Tye adds.

According to Tye, SkyKick can move data from virtually any on-premise or hosted email system, whether it is Exchange, Google, POP, IMAP or Lotus Notes with the technology designed to address the wide variety of migration scenarios that exist across SMB and Enterprise businesses.

“Exeed distributes technology from some of the world’s most respected and innovative companies,” adds Eric Jewett, Vice President of International, SkyKick.

“We’re excited to partner with such a cutting-edge distributor like Exeed to help their partners grow their cloud business with our Cloud Management-as-a Service (CMaaS) products that help pros manage their customers’ cloud-based applications from one single platform.”
