Certus appoints Trevor Janes as new chair

IBM systems integrator in A/NZ, Certus Solutions, has appointed New Zealand businessman, Trevor Janes, as its new chair. According to the company, Janes’ new role is key to the company’s growth strategy for the next five years.

Janes will be in charge of developing the company to be a leading systems integrator for IBM technology within the region.

Certus Solutions CEO, Brian Allen, said the appointment was a logical step in the organisation¹s growth strategy.

“Trevor is an excellent choice to lead Certus as we enter the next phase of our business. The combination of his exceptional business acumen and instinct for good governance is essential for guiding us through our period of transformation and growth.

“His strong financial background, connections in government and his significant track record with multinational companies sets the foundation for Certus¹ international expansion plans in the future,” he said.

An investment banker and financial analyst by trade, Janes is a fellow of the Institute of Financial Professionals New Zealand, and previously a fellow and past chair of the New Zealand Society of Investment Analysts.

He is also a Member of the Chartered Financial Analysts Institute (USA), an affiliate of the United Kingdom Society of Investment Professionals and a Fellow of the Institute of Directors.
