Connector Systems New Zealand has today announced a new partnership with Purple WiFi, a leader in guest WiFi marketing and analytics to the New Zealand market.
Purple WiFi provides marketing and analytics technology for the retail market, they have numerous case studies and customer examples where they have enabled shopping centres and retail chains to better understand their customer demographics.
Purple WiFi’s guest WiFi hotspot software enables detailed data capture through multiple social media platforms. The Vendor agnostic Purple WiFi software is then able to reveal a statistical overview of customers’ online activity specifically relating to any particular physical space.

Madan says Purple WiFi is scalable, cloud-based guest WiFi software, offering shoppers free WiFi through social login.
In return, venues benefit from real-time analytical insights, customer demographic data, information on visitors movements around the space, plus an engagement tool to send targeted communications to customers whilst they are in, or moving around the venue.
Growth is being seen in all sectors, most notably in hospitality (where people have time to spend online), retail (where footfall tracking is essential), healthcare (offering transparency around service and communication) and entire cities moving towards the Internet of Things.
The service is also growing quickly with 2400 venues running across 88 countries and two million users.
