Duo NZ brings Arbor Networks DDoS solutions to the Kiwi channel

“Joining forces with Duo will really bring added-value to our resellers in New Zealand."

DDoS solutions provider Arbor Networks has today announced a partnership with specialist security IT distributor, Duo, to improve the support and offerings to its New Zealand customer base.

According to both parties, the partnership will enable Arbor to offer greater support and additional training programs while also improving the service that the company provides its customers at all levels.

The addition of Arbor Networks’ DDoS and advanced threat detection solutions to Duo’s portfolio builds upon its existing network related performance, optimisation and security offerings.

“Joining forces with Duo will really bring added-value to our resellers in New Zealand,” says Nick Race, New Zealand Country Manager, Arbor Networks.

“The partnership will enable us to offer better services and support, by tapping into Duo’s extensive understanding of the enterprise reseller market locally.”

“We are looking forward to Duo becoming part of the Arbor Networks team. Network security has never been as important as it is today, and further building our distribution network through the New Zealand channel market will enable greater customisation and specialisation of our solutions.”

Arbor Networks’ partner portal will include functionality enhancements to improve features and reports, while also refining rebates to allow top-tier partners to benefit more based on quarterly targets, as well as expanding its online partner training schemes.

The addition of Arbor to Duo’s portfolio of solutions means that its vendors can benefit from the company’s comprehensive DDoS and network security solutions.

Cyber-threats to Kiwi companies are becoming increasingly commonplace and the provision of complete network security in the New Zealand channel market is crucial.

“With reports of DDoS attacks on high-profile organisations appearing regularly in the news in New Zealand, the demand for a solution that detects and mitigates network-based threats is high on the agenda for all companies,” adds Kendra Ross, Director and Co-Founder, Duo.

“As a global leader in network security with a unique and innovative market offering, Arbor Networks is an ideal fit for Duo as a specialist in bringing next-generation technologies to the channel.

“Arbor is a key addition to Duo’s portfolio of solutions that identify performance issues and provide the analytics to pinpoint their specific causes, enabling fast and effective resolution of problems.”

Duo New Zealand is one of the fastest growing VAD’s (Value Added Distributor) in IT Security Solutions in New Zealand, branching into the security market eight years ago representing major brands such as Check Point Technologies, AlienVault, InfraScale, and HP Enterprise Security.
