Boost for partners as Acronis A/NZ launches new channel partner program

Acronis has announced its new channel partner program, designed to help partners capitalise on new revenue opportunities while delivering a better experience to their end-customers.

“The Acronis partner program further strengthens our commitment and support to partners with the introduction of a new channel incentives structure that rewards demand generation and high value selling,” says Rose Old, Channel Business Manager A/NZ, Acronis.

“It also provides access to a wide range of sales and readiness resources to help partners strengthen their competencies, target the right customers, deliver the best value proposition, and differentiate their business for maximum customer adoption and profitability.”

Through the program, Old says Acronis partners can sell the entire suite of new generation data protection solutions to meet their customers’ needs.

Powered by the Acronis AnyData Engine, Old says this set of solutions lets organisations capture, store, recover, control and access data in virtual, physical, cloud, and mobile environments.

“We’ve rebuilt our program based on partner feedback,” he adds.

“We’ve spoken with distributers and partners during the twelve months before the launch to find out what was missing from the program and what our partners would like to see included.

“This new program is built to boost the reseller’s profitability and in turn help businesses evolve and transition to the cloud.”

Old says the newly redesigned Acronis partner program is a multi-tier, progression-based program that offers three levels of participation (Acronis Authorised Partner, Acronis Gold Partner, Acronis Platinum Partner) to distinguish and reward a partner’s sales performance, certification commitment, and marketing collaboration.

Each level has a specific set of requirements, benefits and resources aligned to help partners drive business growth and profitability.

“The New Acronis Partner Program is a great strategic move for the vendor,” adds Lee Welch, General Manager, Ingram Micro.

“With the shift to service based selling, we see profitability being far more relevant and Acronis’s Partner Program focusses on just that – profitability.

To support the new partner program, Acronis created the Acronis Partner mobile app, which is an additional channel of communication through which Acronis maintains its partner community.

With this app partners can learn about Acronis events and programs, request a quote and stay updated on the latest news and most current promotions, product packaging and pricing.
