Security vendor Palo Alto Networks has appointed Distribution Central as an Elite Authorised Support Centre, the only ANZ distributor to achieve the title.

Benefits of the Elite ASC status include direct access to senior Technical Assistance Centre (TAC) engineers and a seat on the Authorised Support Centre (ASC) Advisory Council.

Distribution Central was awarded the title after meeting a series of stringent requirements by Palo Alto concerning its Level one and two help desk ChannelSupport Service.

“Distribution Central has made some significant investments in the Palo Alto Networks channel and we’re seeing the results of that investment less than two years since the start of our distribution partnership,” said Nick Verykios, Distribution Central managing director.

Distribution Central says its ChannelSupport has delivered consistently below the regional average and the target set by Palo Alto Networks for escalations.

“We congratulate Distribution Central on achieving the Elite Authorised Support Centre (ASC) status, which reflects their technical expertise and commitment to support Palo Alto Networks customers through every aspect of the IT security lifecycle. Working closely with Distribution Central as one of our top distributors allows us to continue to provide today’s businesses with the most comprehensive enterprise security protection and cyber threat prevention platform in the market,” said Palo Alto Networks APAC head of channels, Keith Carter.

This appointment follows last year’s accolades of ANZ Distribution Partner of the Year and APAC Distributor of the Year, awarded to Distribution Central at the 2014 Palo Alto Networks Partner Conference.
