Toshiba and Dicker Data take long-standing relationship to NZ

Toshiba and Dicker Data have extended their long standing relationship to distribute Toshiba computer products into the New Zealand market.

To date, Dicker Data has solely served the Australian market for Toshiba.

“Our relationship with Toshiba has been in place for over 25 years and is one of the most successful partnerships we have,” says David Dicker, Chairman and CEO, Dicker Data.

“Their continued support of our business is greatly appreciated and I’m proud to be leading our charge into the New Zealand volume market with them. The integrations and expansion of our NZ business is integral to our successful future.”

Toshiba sees this extension of the Dicker Data business into New Zealand as an opportunity for them to continue to develop and grow their business in the marketplace.

“This is an exciting development for Toshiba as we continue to enhance our partner network to ensure we have coverage and choice,” adds Rob Wilkinson, general manager, Toshiba.

“We know that Dicker Data will represent the Toshiba brand at the same high standard as they have done in Australia.

“Dicker Data was Toshiba’s first PC distributor and they were a clear choice for the next step of our expansion into New Zealand.

“Our success is fundamentally aligned with our partner’s success as the vast majority of our business is channel focussed and with the extension of our relationship, we are sure that Dicker Data NZ will deliver and grow our business in New Zealand.”

The announcement takes effect from April 20, with Toshiba computer products in stock and ready to ship today from Dicker Data New Zealand.
