Education boost as Wavelink signs A/NZ Lightspeed Systems distie deal

Wavelink, a value added distributor of enterprise mobility and unified communications solutions, has signed a distribution agreement with Lightspeed Systems for Australia and New Zealand.

Lightspeed Systems is focused on the education market, specifically K-12 with its product suite including web filtering, mobile device management, a learning management system (LMS) and classroom management.

“The offerings of Lightspeed Systems complement Wavelink’s existing solutions," says Ilan Rubin, managing director, Wavelink.

"The agreement means that Wavelink can now offer an even wider range of options to the education sector.

"More than that, Lightspeed Systems sole focus on K-12 means that the solutions it offers to schools are purpose-built to meet the sector’s needs rather than offering generic products to address specific problems.”

Education is one of the key markets for Wavelink across its portfolio, offering everything from Wi-Fi to unified communications and network access.

“Wavelink will work closely with the Lightspeed Systems team in Australia," Rubin adds.

"The initial focus is on signing up existing education resellers to provide them with another solution to offer customers.

"The response from Wavelink’s education partners that have been introduced to Lightspeed Systems offerings has been very positive and we’re very excited with this new addition to our product portfolio."
