Windows 10 major drawcard as resellers turn out in force for NZ showing

“It’s the best attendance I’ve seen at a reseller event for some time, meaning Windows 10 is proving to be a great drawcard for the Kiwi market.”

Resellers turned out in force for the first public showing of the new Windows 10 in New Zealand last week, with 340 resellers attending the Auckland leg of the Synnex New Zealand Synergy Roadshow.

Speaking to Reseller News, Warwick Grey, Senior Partner Sales Executive – Distribution, Microsoft New Zealand applauded the turnout, which surpassed recent events despite the power cut which struck-down parts of the city.

“We had a phenomenal turn out to the Novotel Ellerslie, despite the power cut in that area,” he says.

“It’s the best attendance I’ve seen at a reseller event for some time, meaning Windows 10 is proving to be a great drawcard for the Kiwi market.”

Grey says Synnex followed up auckland with over 70 resellers in Hamilton, and 60 in Palmerston North, with events also set for Dunedin, Christchurch and Wellington this month.
