We've got plenty of rumours surrounding the Nexus 6, Nexus 8 and a new Nexus 10 but a new tablet is on the cards. According to Android Police, HTC is working on a Nexus 9 device which could be the last Nexus tablet from Google.

Google is launching a new product tonight and Google I/O kicks off this week so we could be able to clear things up on the subject soon. For now, the information on the Nexus 9 is rather thorough. It could be the last Nexus tablet because Google is supposedly going to launch Android Silver.

It will use a 'zero-gap' aluminium construction and have front facing stereo speakers. You can see the sites own render based on the source information.

In terms of price, the Nexus 9 is expected to fetch $399 for the cheapest model. The 32GB edition will be $499 and LTE connectivity is a possibility, too.
