To celebrate the company's 45th anniversary, the Samsung Innovation Museum was opened in Seoul, South Korea in April.

The dedicated facility is a first for the electronics giant, which has evolved from its roots in semiconductor manufacturing to one of the largest technology manufacturers in the world.

The theme of the facility centres around the invention of electricity and how it led to the development of electronics, featuring several displays that highlight notable inventions by pioneers such as Thomas Edison, Nikola Tesla, and Alexander Graham Bell.

The museum also features an in-depth look into the various consumer products Samsung has released, such as mobile phones, televisions and audio equipment.

The product showcase is not limited to Samsung products, with revolutionary devices from competing manufacturers also on display to show the progression of technology.

The Samsung Innovation Museum is a located at the company's headquarters, dubbed Samsung Digital city, in Suwon.
