IT security firm, LogRhythm, has begun a bold expansion into the A/NZ market to build on its foundation customers - such as Tatts Group - through a pure channel strategy.
LogRhythm is kickstarting its investment in the A/NZ market as a sponsor at AusCERT, and plans to build its base from foundation customers across federal and state government, manufacturing, mining, education and business.
The company has also appointed former Acronis sales director, mobility, Simon Howe, as its new A/NZ director of sales.
He will be responsible for developing a channel of security-focused partners to deliver LogRhythm’s security intelligence platform to the A/NZ market.
Simon Howe said organisations were realising that breaches were inevitable.
"As such, they are looking for solutions that can help them substantially improve their ability to detect and respond to threats and breaches sooner," he said.
"Today, LogRhythm’s Security Intelligence Platform delivers that visibility to more than 1500 organisations around the globe."
Tatts Group security architect, Darren Moore, said LogRhythm provided an automated, centralised way to meet PCI and other regulatory requirements.
"By providing a single view into log and event data, LogRhythm allows us to quickly identify security events and to provide consolidated data to our operational support teams.”
Howe said LogRhythm was now recruiting security focused partners and those with vertical specialisations wanting to add this offering to their solution portfolio.
“We have a 100 percent channel focused business model and an extensive support program that includes technical and sales accreditations,” he said.
The platform unifies enterprise-class security information and event management , log management, file integrity monitoring, and network and host forensics.
According to a company statement, LogRhythm is delivered efficiently as an on premise or managed service.
Its mobile-friendly UX design makes it easy to configure and manage with a short time to value.
