CommVault has secured new agreements with Rackspace and Nextgen as well as expanded agreements with Fujitsu and Brennan IT.
The new agreements come as the company launches improvements to its channel program and welcomes Nextgen Distribution as its key distributor across Australian and New Zealand.
CommVault channel director A/NZ, Justin Cooper, told ARN the next 12 months would see the company focus on all things data including information lifecycle management, back up recovery and archiving.
"While the backup component is a core value proposition of CommVault’s, we have begun to see an increased interest in archiving, and disaster recovery, especially as part of our partners ‘as-a-service’ offerings in recent months driven by an increase in e-discovery and compliance requirements," he said.
Cooper said the company had enhanced its PartnerAdvantage program to refocus its commitment to our partners around a model based on mutual investment, growth and success.
"Our enhanced PartnerAdvantage program drives our transformation as a channel-driven company offering the opportunity for SPs to increase revenue opportunities and minimize operational costs across a broad array of CommVault powered offerings," he said.
"The program includes SP-specific pricing, training, marketing support, and sales and technical sales enablement.
"The program includes rewards and incentives tied to level of commitment and requirements."
He said qualified partners could achieve a MarketBuilder designation.
"This designation indicates a partner committed to investing in and building a successful CommVault practice in certain market spaces and verticals."
Nextgen Distribution managing director, John Walters, said he was pleased to be partnering with CommVault in Australia and New Zealand and supporting their go to market strategy.
"At Nextgen, we have been building a holistic storage portfolio based on transformational flash based technologies, which includes Oracle, Violin Memory and Nimble Storage (NZ)," he said.

Cooper said CommVault expected to see significant growth in the coming year.
