Sitecore appoints alliances lead

Owen Brandt to take care of channel and partnerships

Customer experience management software vendor, Sitecore, has appointed Owen Brandt to take charge of its strategic partnerships as Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ) alliance director.

Based in Sydney, Brandt will be responsible for driving the company’s regional channel and alliance business development. He is also tasked with localising the vendor’s global partner program strategy to ensure partners are equipped to deliver success with its customer engagement platform.

“We are delighted that Owen has joined the Sitecore team to work with our strategic implementation and technology partners to enable the building of skilled Sitecore teams in the delivery of flagship digital marketing solutions,” Sitecore A/NZ managing director, Robert Holliday, said.

“His industry experience and existing relationships with many of our partners will ensure we can work more effectively with them for mutual success.”

Brandt joins Sitecore with 15 years of experience in the IT industry. He most recently worked for enterprise information management company, OpenText, where he held several management positions over three years. His position prior to departing was A/NZ alliance director, in which he established strategic partnerships with Microsoft, Deloitte, CGI, WindowLogic, Alphawest, and Oakton.

He was also responsible for managing the OpenText and Microsoft partnership across Asia-Pacific (APAC), and previously was practice director for web solutions, education, and support for OpenText APAC.

Brandt’s career also includes a stint at RedDot APAC, where he held the role of professional services and customer support director, managing the company’s technical support team.
