Andrew Mellor to manage business to meet One Engagement Cloud demand

Customer experience enterprise solutions vendor, Thunderhead.com, has appointed Andrew Mellor to lead its Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ) business to cater for the increase in demand for its One Engagement Cloud solution.

The One Engagement Cloud is designed to simplify the customer service, sales, and marketing process, and encompasses the company’s One Communicate, One Connect, and Now products for enterprises.

As vice-president for the region, Mellor will be responsible for ensuring continued customer success, developing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth.

In commenting on his appointed, Mellor said, “Offering solutions at the heart of the customer experience economy enables our client brands to deliver intelligent customer experiences and focus on building long-term engagement. It’s great to be part of a visionary organisation that is driving a new category in customer engagement.”

Mellor joins Thunderhead.com with more than 25 years’ experience in global and regional sales management, having previously established enterprise and channel sales strategies across Australia, Asia-Pacific (APAC), and Europe.

He most recently worked as applications general manager at Oracle where he led the company’s applications business in Australia for the financial services, communications, media and utility sectors.

Prior, Mellor worked at Global 360 as APAC sales vice-president, as had stints with Amdocs, Cramer Systems, and PeopleSoft.

“[Mellor’s] experience in working with some of Australia’s most prominent enterprises, combined with his knowledge of customer management solutions, will be invaluable as we roll out our One Engagement Cloud and redefine customer experience management and enterprise management,” Thunderhead.com EMEA and APAC senior vice-president, Leon Stevens, said.
