BEarena announced as first A/NZ Nutanix elite partner

The australian company has become Nutanix's first partner after a successful customer expansion drive

IT services provider, BEarena (Business Enablement arena), has been appointed the first Nutanix Elite partner in Australia and New Zealand.

The elevation follows BEarena's successful push for new customers for virtualised workloads on the Nutanix virtual computing platform across Australia and New Zealand.

Its public references include Sanity Music, Pearson VUE, South Taranaki District Council and Southlands District Council.

Nutanix managing director A/NZ, Wayne Neich, said BEarena shared his company's vision of the software defined data centre (SDDC) and truly converged compute-plus-storage platforms.

"Their strength in virtualised architectures and superior customer support have enabled endless customers to evolve from legacy based technologies to the high performance and scale-out systems of tomorrow,” he said.

BEarena is an Australian provider IT services, whose key focus is on reducing businesses’ IT costs while providing frameworks for building smarter, more manageable IT infrastructures.

Nutanix, based in San Jose, Calfornia, provides data centre infrastructure solutions that are hyper-efficient, scalable and simple to use.

The Nutanix Virtual Computing Platform has disrupted the market by converging compute and storage in a single appliance.

BEarena technical director, Darren Ashley, said virtualisation had changed the industry.

"Nutanix is at the forefront of the technology that supports these Google-like software defined environments, and is changing the way organisations are consuming virtualisation infrastructure," he said.

“At BEarena we practice what we preach and have implemented our own Nutanix infrastructure to support our rapidly growing business.

"I see tremendous opportunities to grow our investment with the multitude of managed service opportunities the market presents, for which Nutanix is the perfect fit.”
