Hansjoerg Wagner to lead Juniper Networks APAC

Appointed senior vice-president for the region with responsibility for all business activities

Networking products vendor, Juniper Networks, has appointed Hansjoerg Wagner to the role of Asia-Pacific (APAC) senior vice-president in which he will lead the company’s business activities for the region.

This will include responsibility for revenue growth, customer engagement, strategic planning, and sales development, training and enablement.

Wagner joins Juniper with more than 20 years’ experience in field execution, in both service provider and enterprise industries.

He previously worked for unified communications vendor, Polycom, in several senior leadership roles with responsibility for providing strategic direction.

He first joined the company in 2006 as APAC vice-president and managing director, where he stayed for five years. He then moved to lead its global field operations, before returning to APAC as president in 2010.

His career has also included a stint at Packeteer APAC (now BlueCoat).

Based in Singapore, Wagner will now report to worldwide sales executive vice-president, Vince Molinaro.

He replaces Douglas Murray, who spent two years in the role, and will now return to the US as a member of Juniper’s customer leadership team.
