Cat sings Daft Punk's 'Get Lucky' (and five other nerdy song covers)

Here's something worth sharing during your coffee break: five nerdy song covers, all as ridiculous as the last.

Forget robots--this Daft Punk cover from YouTube user Enjoykin is all about the cats.

"Cat Lucky" replaces Phattell Williams's silky vocals with that of a musical moggie. Now, we're not entirely sure if this rendition is a cat-chy as the original, but you'll find yourself meow-ing along nonetheless.

If that wasn't enough for you, here's a look at some other alternative takes on popular tunes, all with a unique nerdy twist.

Daft Punk on floppy drives

Yup, it's another Daft Punk hit, and this time the music is brought to you by a group of eight floppy drives. Remember them?

...And this is crazy (in the best possible way)

Here's more floppy drive music, as a group of 3.5-inch drives hums out Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe."

House of the Robot Sun

Get ready for a complete robot band. Here a collection of old-school computers coming together to strum out the classic folk song "The House of the Rising Sun," as made famous by The Animals in 1964.

Röbothead

What's more heavy metal than Motörhead's Ace of Spades? How about a group of metal robots rocking out to the 1980 tune?

Owl Kitty

Oh, and I'll leave you with this--yet another animal number.

Got any other tech covers worth sharing--such as this Lego take on LCD Sounsystem's "All My Friends"? If so, share yours in the comments or over on our Facebook page.
