Networking company, Allied Telesis, has signed a distie agreement with Exeed Limited to distribute its entire range of products to the New Zealand market.

Allied Telesis NZ managing director, Paul Batchelor, said the company has a strong presence in New Zealand, with about 150 people employed at Allied Telesis Labs in Christchurch, and claimed the agreement will further boost Allied Telesis’ New Zealand business.

“Exeed has a strong commercial reseller base and a proven successful formula working within the markets that are growing strongly for us across the world,” he said.

Exeed managing director, Justin Tye, claimed the company is excited to expand Allied Telesis’ networking offering to its resellers.

“They will benefit from a strong support offering and a larger portfolio of networking products including media converters, network interface cards and commercial grade routers,” he said.

Allied Telesis is also distributing to the New Zealand market through its former agreements with Connector Systems, NTL Network Technologies and Net.Cover.

The agreement between Exeed and Allied Telesis will take effect from July 30.
