Altech Computers to distribute Infortrend storage solutions in Australia and New Zealand

Networked storage solutions vendor, Infortrend, has inked a distribution deal with Altech Computers Computers.

As per the terms of the agreement, Altech Computers will distribute Infortrend’s entire range of storage solutions, including the ESVA, EonStor, EonStor DS and EonNAS product families in Australia and New Zealand.

Altech Computers will also certify and train its staff to provide first line support for the Infortrend solutions.

The company said, in a statement, that the products will be targeted at the enterprise and SMB markets.

Altech Computers CEO, Antony Sheen claimed the company is working with Infortrend to meet the storage demands of its customers both now and for the future.

“The addition of Infortrend’s products to Altech’s line of existing hardware and software vendors will provide our SMB and enterprise customers with a storage solution fit for the imminent explosion of Cloud computing and Big Data related services,” he said.

The Infortrend products will be available through Altech’s branches in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Auckland.
