Goodson Imports to distribute Tipro and Cherry products

Signs agreement to be exclusive distributor for the two companies in the A/NZ market

Australian point of sale (POS) distributor, Goodson Imports, has inked distie deals with Slovenia-based computer terminals and peripherals vendor, Tipro, and computer input devices vendor, Cherry.

Goodson Imports will be the exclusive distributor for the two companies in the A/NZ market.

It will distribute modular and programmable keyboards from the Tipro range, which includes touchmonitors, touchcomputers and voice communication modules designed for both commercial and industrial uses.

It will also offer the complete range of Cherry products, including POS keyboards, programmable keyboards, financial systems keyboards and special purpose keyboards, mice, switches, and commodity components.

Goodson Imports sales director, Susan Pace, said the new partnerships will add to its range of product offerings, as well as broaden and increase its expertise, product diversity and marketing prowess in the POS market within the A/NZ region.

“This is a tremendous opportunity for Goodson in A/NZ. These products are essential for our vast reseller base and enable us to continue offering POS hardware solutions to our customers.

“Our reseller’s customers will be able to combine and configure various modules into specific compositions suitable for all types of business including financial, transport, retail, hospitality and industrial warehousing,” she said.

Cherry Australia CEO, Leo Nyhof, said the company selected Goodson Imports for its 60 year importing and distribution expertise and its experience as a component supplier.

In addition, Goodson Imports has also hired Brian Noone as its product development manager, who will be based in the company’s office in Melbourne.

Noone was previously a manager at Cherry Australia.
