Enterprise application software vendor, SAP A/NZ has named Tony Armfield as area vice-president for its SuccessFactors Cloud business in Australia and New Zealand.

Armfield is replacing Robert Yue, who has taken on a role with Jive Software.

Armfield will focus on bringing the value of Cloud solutions to companies of all sizes, helping them drive workforce strategies and insights.

He said Australia and New Zealand have laid a foundation for the rapid adoption of Cloud solutions.

“More and more businesses in the region are recognising and realising the benefits of Cloud, including faster innovation, shorter implementation times, an operational expense model, and lower total cost of ownership.

“I am thrilled to be working with local businesses as they transition to this flexible deployment model to support their HR strategies,” he said.

Armfield brings more than 25 years’ experience in New Zealand, England and Australia in the computer software and digital media industries.

He joins SAP from Salesforce.com, where he served as enterprise sales vice-president. He has also held senior executive positions at CA Pacific and SAP UK.

He will be based in the company’s Sydney office.
