THE Simpl Group has re-branded, adopting a fresh logo with a distinctive leafy shade of green as its new corporate colour.
The company says the new logo reflects its professional, modern and flexible image and is more akin to its business model in a maturing IT industry, while the previous logo was deemed to be too IT-centric and complex.
According to chief operating officer Mike Ogle the old logo no longer mirrored the company name or image.
“Our updated look will be more flexible and simpler,’ he says.
“We want it to reflect that we are an open company with a culture that allows people to do what they want to do.”
The new logo is also meant to highlight Simpl’s professional services expertise in management and consulting, and illustrate the technical capabilities it has to support IT as an integral part of business.
The company previously did not have a dominant corporate colour and Ogle says the new colour was selected after careful consideration.
“Green has many positive connotations,” he says.
The new company image was introduced to employees at an event in Taupo last weekend, attended by staff from across the country and was designed with the services of Christchurch-based Strategy Design and Advertising.
New signage was also installed at the group’s head office last week.
