eOne convergence for MS customers

MICROSOFT Business Solutions (MBS) Great Plains specialist eOne Integrated Business Solutions is preaching convergence to local businesses.

The company has turned the key messages from the recent Microsoft Business Solutions annual global customer conference “Convergence”, held in the US, into a seminar that it has delivered to local Great Plains users and prospects.

The company exhibited and was the only New Zealand MBS partner to be a sponsor at the event showcasing the latest features, best practices and future direction of the Microsoft business products and attended by around 5000 people.

According to managing director Tony McCarthy eOne was at the event to market the range of Great Plains add-on applications developed by its Sydney-based parent and is the first company to communicate the message from the conference locally.

The seminar provided a preview of Great Plains Version 8 and how its fits in with Microsoft’s broader technical set.

“It showed the convergence between Microsoft Business Solutions products, Microsoft Server and Office,” says McCarthy, adding the seminar builds on the significant investment it has made to increase its profile at events particularly in North America, where the bulk of its business for its Extender range is generated. The company will also exhibit at Microsoft’s annual global partner conference in Toronto in July, but is still considering sponsorship options.

Microsoft confirms eOne was its only partner from New Zealand to be a sponsor at Convergence, adding there was also an Australian sponsor, Professional Advantage.

eOne was profiled by Reseller News in October last year after it was conducted into the Microsoft Business Solutions Presidents Club.
