TOSHIBA stages its annual ANZ TargetBusters channel event in Queenstown early in August.

The mobile computing vendor says 20 New Zealand delegates from The Laptop Company, ATL Systems, Portables Plus, Gen-i, Axon, Tech Pacific and Harvey Normal will join 100 channel partners flying in from Australia.

Toshiba NZ country manager Steve Ford says the TargetBusters programme started in 1989 to reward sales, customer service and business achievement among its channel partners, who are responsible for 100% of Toshiba sales.

This year’s three-day event, running during August 7-10, is themed “Xtreme” and promises a mix of business development activities, teamwork and fun.

A Gala Dinner finale will see a host of awards given, including 5-State Reseller of the Year, which last year was won by the Laptop Company in Wellington, making them the first channel partner to snare this award away from the Australians.
