Canty show claims channel opps

OPPORTUNITIES for resellers, distributors and ISVs are promised at an exhibition of some 40 Canterbury IT firms in November.

Electronics South, an offshoot of the Canterbury Development Corporation, is staging ES Connectivity 04 with the aim of developing and furthering local business relationships, as well as showcasing local technology.

Canterbury businesses ranging from large electronics producers to small software suppliers will be taking part, representing a cross-section of the region’s IT sector, which the CDC says generates $180 million of revenue a year.

“Businesses have the opportunity to meet up potential partners, suppliers, clients and investors,” says CDC facilitator James Saruchera. The event runs on November 2 and 3 at the Christchurch Convention Centre. Details are on www.esconnectivity.org.nz.
