RSA partner programme gets makeover

RSA Security relaunched its Securworld partner programme this week.

The company's channels and alliances manager, Chris Wood, says it has been a chance to review partners needs.

“The review started 18 months ago. It’s been a long journey and RSA wanted to get it right,” he says.

Based on certification and sales volumes, Securworld has been divided into two streams.

Solution partners are required to have a minimum of two authorised field sales staff and an equal number of certified technical staff.

In return RSA will provide full portal access, marketing funds and access to new business rebates.

Access partners must have a minimum of two authorised sales staff and be eligible for volume rebates.

Wood says any programme should ensure partners are rewarded in a way that befits their behaviour.

“Our partners will sell RSA because of the products and a partner programme is really just a function. If our partners are successful then so are we.”
